From Commitment to Action: ofi Brings Nutrition Support to 70% of Primary Employees
ofi, a global leader in natural food and beverage ingredients, is making strong progress toward its 2030 target of providing nutrition support to all employees. Working with Workforce Nutrition Alliance (WNA), ofi has expanded access to nutrition programmes from 6,000 employees in 2022 to 12,500 by 2025, now reaching 70% of its core workforce across more than 50 countries.
Through a mix of localised action and global HR leadership, ofi offers tailored initiatives such as subsidised healthy meals, nutrition-focused health checks, and breastfeeding support. Teams across sites used the WNA self-assessment scorecard and Workforce Nutrition Masterclass to strengthen implementation, while partnerships with Alive & Thrive and local health authorities in Vietnam support scale-up.
ofi’s example reflects growing private-sector leadership in workforce wellbeing – a theme reinforced at the Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit in Paris (March 2025), where companies were called to drive healthier, more sustainable food systems.
